Campaign Background

 

Since the formation of the Cicatrix Maledictum, the Amdania Sector has been cut-off from Holy Tera and the rest of Mankind. The light of the Astronomican was obscured by the Great Rift making faster than light travel and astropathic communication all but impossible. The various sectors and countless worlds were completely isolated and exposed to the many enemies of Mankind

All is not lost. Roboute Guilliman launches the Indomitus Crusade to defend and reclaim the many territories threatened both by the forces of Chaos and Xenos.

As Fleet Septimus navigated the Nachmund Gauntlet, intermittent communication was possible for the first time from many sectors since the Great Rift formed. Broken reports from the Amdania Sector told of uprising of tzeentch cults, presence of heretic Astartes and Drukhari raids. Battlefleet Delphi was dispatched as an advanced scouting fleet under the command of Seglik Khan of the 5th Legion White Scars, to investigate these reports and establish the situation in the sector.
